Ms. Stavely serves on the Elder Law Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Commission on Aging for the City of Annapolis, the Governor's Advisory Council on Quality Care at End of Life, and is currently President of the Maryland/D.C Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planning.
Ms. Stavely is an avid sailor and has worked extensively with sailor/fundraising efforts to benefit hospice care. Ms. Stavely opened her practice in 1997 after a 25-year career in law enforcement.
